When you make bold choices, you are bound to be criticized, sometimes even trashed. I personally side with Jackson in A Star Is Born in regard to Ally’s song “Why did you do that?”. But I despair at how cruel he allows himself to be toward her. I have two daughters, and I don’t want them to be afraid to try and fail. And try again, even though they just failed. Someone once told me that if my goal was to be liked by everyone, I should just sit in a corner. Here I am, me and all my choices.
